Why Democrats Remain Nervous about Wisconsin

Though Wisconsin Democrats insist they're ahead or tied in all six recall races targeting Republican state senators next Tuesday, there's really little precedent for predicting the outcome of recall races.

Pollster Mark Mellman to Greg Sargent: "We don't have a precedent for this. The nature of the turnout is so uncertain that it really will make a huge difference. We're dealing with big uncertainties."

In fact, Mellman said that three of the key races -- though he wouldn't specify which -- are "all very close races that could go either way."
