A new Quinnipiac poll in Virginia finds President Obama just edges Rick Perry in a general election match up, 44% to 42%, but loses to Mitt Romney, 44% to 42%.
Said pollster Peter Brown: "At this point Romney and Perry both are in a horse race against President Barack
Obama, challenging Romney's 'electability' argument. The big difference is
among independent voters, where Romney holds a solid 44% to 35% lead, and Perry is in a
40% to 40% dead heat with the president."
