Perry Leads Romney in Latest Poll

A new Bloomberg poll finds Rick Perry edging Mitt Romney in the Republican presidential race, 26% to 22%, with all of the other Republican candidates get less than 10%.

Said pollster Ann Selzer: "Perry leads in the primary contest in part because some of his most famous stands don't turn off the primary electorate all that much. In the general election, these issues will matter more."

In general election match ups, President Obama leads Perry by 9 points, 49% to 40%, and tops Romney by 5 points, 48% to 43%.
