President Obama's re-election campaign has returned campaign contributions from former New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine (D), Bloomberg reports.
Corzine recently resigned as head of the bankrupt investment firm MF Global, which is accused of improperly using client funds.
Corzine and his wife each contributed $30,800 to the Democratic National Committee and $5,000 to Obama's campaign, the maximum amounts that individuals are allowed to give. Corzine is also one of 41 donors who bundled more than $500,000 this year for Obama's re-election effort.
