Alex Burns notes how Newt Gingrich's bus tour of Iowa keeps losing stops.
The New York Times reported on December 19 that Gingrich promised a 44-stop "jobs and prosperity" tour before the voting on January 3.
Politico reported last week that Gingrich planned "over 30 appearances next week in the final run-up to the Iowa caucuses."
Finally, the Des Moines Register reports today Gingrich will now "make 22 stops between now and the Jan. 3 caucuses. That's exactly half of the 44 he said he would make last week when announcing the tour during a stop in Davenport."
