Kerrey Returns Fire on Rove

As former Sen. Bob Kerrey (D-NE) mulls a U.S. Senate bid, he ripped Karl Rove for calling him a "liberal carpetbagger" while reminding voters he still owns a chain of restaurants and health clubs in Nebraska despite living in New York City, The Hill reports.

Kerrey sent a letter back to Rove: "I heard your very funny radio ad and would like to invite you to come to Nebraska and have a burger with my family at one of my restaurants. Or better: Let's work out at one of my health clubs. I am certain you'll be glad you did."
