Bruning Loses Primary Lead in Nebraska

A new We Ask America survey in Nebraska finds a shake up in the Republican U.S. Senate race with Deb Fischer (R) now leading with 39%, followed by Jon Bruning (R) at 34% and Don Stenberg (R) at 18%.

The Omaha World Herald notes that Chicago Cubs owner Joe Ricketts recently poured $200,000 into the race with a tough television ad that questioned Bruning's character and business deals, and another ad that praised Fischer.
