Stringer Voted In Favor of Pro-Pedophile Group

Scott Stringer (D), who is now battling Eliot Spitzer (D) in the Democratic primary for New York City comptroller, voted against revoking the tax exempt status for an organization called Zymurgy, which was a front for the North American Man Boy Love Association, which promotes consensual sex between men and boys, the New York Daily News reports.

A spokesman explained that Stringer believes "NAMBLA and groups like it are abhorrent and disgusting" -- but that he "voted to protect the Constitution."
