Christie Says Scandal Will Not Impact His Political Future

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) said he didn't think the scandal over the closure of lanes to the George Washington Bridge would impact his potential presidential bid, adding that it "will be a footnote" by the time the campaign is underway, Time reports.

Said Christie: "I think it will have none, because I didn't do anything."

"He added that he is not the first chief executive to have a staff member do something inappropriate without their knowledge."
