The Washington Post reports a deal was reached to restore access to a voter file that Sen. Bernie Sanders’ campaign has used inappropriately.
“Without a quick resolution, the messy public brawl threatened to overshadow Saturday’s third Democratic presidential debate and cast doubt on the DNC’s ability to manage the sophisticated data tools necessary for the party to win the White House next year. And it sparked significant suspicions among Sanders supporters that the party was conspiring to give a boost to Clinton.”
Wall Street Journal: “The party’s early-morning decision to restore Mr. Sanders’ access to the master voter file puts to an end to an interparty drama that threatened to drag the two main Democratic rivals into an ugly spat with the national party.”
