In a series of tweets, President Trump defended a $130,000 payment to adult-film actress Stormy Daniels, saying that nondisclosure agreements were “common among celebrities and people of wealth” and that none of the money came from his campaign, Reuters reports.
Said Trump: “Money from the campaign, or campaign contributions, played no roll in this transaction.”
