Trump Allies Hope Schumer Video Will Rally Base

“Republicans close to President Trump have been looking for ways to make the case to midterm voters that Democrats are hellbent on pushing for impeachment if they win control of Congress,” Politico reports.

“A new video of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer appears to give them what they’ve sought. On Tuesday, the president’s allies began circulating a YouTube clip of the New York Democrat responding to a question from the crowd about when Trump would be impeached.”

Said Schumer: “The sooner the better. We got to get a few Republicans. The Democrats are on your side.”
