Asked about abruptly cancelling his visit today to the CDC, President Trump said he may now be going there, CBS News reports.
He said “there was a problem with CDC with somebody who had the virus,” but the person was tested and it came out negative. As a result, he said, “I may be going.”
Earlier the White House had told the New York Times “that the president canceled the visit because he did not want to interfere with the work at the centers as its staff scrambled to get a grip on the virus.”
