Utah Gov. Spencer Cox (R) attacked diversity, equity and inclusion programs at Utah’s colleges and universities, the Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Said Cox: “These diversity statements you have to sign to get hired, I think that is awful, bordering on evil. We’re forcing people into a political framework before they can even apply for a job with the state.”
