Republicans and Democrats will make their choices for president in five states today.
Joe Cabosky: “Trump is definitely favored in Louisiana, and he ‘should’ be favored in Kentucky and Maine, though we don’t have much to go on. And watch out for those Ted Cruz over performs in closed GOP Caucus states. It does look like Saturday is unlikely to be a good day for Rubio — though he may do well in Kansas, repeat: may – the rest of the map appears to be unfriendly terrain. If Kasich might do okay somewhere, watch out for Kansas as well. But Saturday likely won’t do Kasich or Rubio many favors going into Michigan on Tuesday.”
Politico: “Three of the four states voting this weekend are in the Sanders sweet spot: Kansas, Maine, and Nebraska are caucus states with largely white populations. The one state where Sanders figures to perform poorly is Louisiana – which holds a primary election where African-Americans will cast roughly half the vote.”
