Podcaster Joe Rogan once again pushed the baseless conspiracy theory that the Januray 6 Capitol insurrection was a false flag operation orchestrated by the federal government, the Daily Beast reports.

Said Rogan: “The January 6 thing is bad, but also, the intelligence agencies were involved in provoking people into the Capitol Building. That’s a fact.”

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) said it is “certainly possible” government agencies were involved in the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Said Johnson: “I think it’s certainly possible, yeah. The American public deserves the truth, and we haven’t gotten it.”

He added: “There’s so many unanswered questions, so many witnesses that just died, so many leads that weren’t followed up on, so much evidence that obviously should have been collected that people have been prevented from collecting.”

Robert Kennedy Jr., the long-shot Democratic presidential candidate, has backed a conspiracy theory that the CIA was involved in the killing of his uncle, former President John F. Kennedy, arguing the evidence is “overwhelming,” The Hill reports.

Said Kennedy: “I think it’s beyond a reasonable doubt at this point.”

My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell has been ordered to shell out $5 million to an expert who debunked his data related to the 2020 election, CNN reports.

Washington Post: “The panel said Robert Zeidman, a computer forensics expert and 63-year-old Trump voter from Nevada, was entitled to the $5 million payout. Zeidman had examined Lindell’s data and concluded that it not only did not prove voter fraud, it had no connection to the 2020 election. He was the only expert who submitted a claim, arbitration records show.”

“The Infowars conspiracy broadcaster Alex Jones, who faces more than $1.4 billion in legal damages for defaming the families of the Sandy Hook shooting victims, has devised a new way to taunt them: wriggling out of paying them the money they are owed,” the New York Times reports.

“Mr. Jones, who has an estimated net worth as high as $270 million, declared both business and personal bankruptcy last year as the families won historic verdicts in two lawsuits over his lies about the 2012 shooting that killed 20 first graders and six educators at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.”

“Alex Jones’ media company has proposed a plan in its bankruptcy case to pay the conspiracy theorist $520,000 a year while leaving $7 million to $10 million annually to pay off creditors, including relatives of Sandy Hook shooting victims,” the AP reports.

Vice News: “For the last five years, Deborah Sullivan has been at the forefront of the QAnon movement, fighting a non-existent Democratic cabal of elites running a child sex trafficking ring. As the self-described QAnon ‘Meme Queen’ she has produced more than 4,500 memes about the conspiracy, many of them focusing on former President Donald Trump, who she believes is secretly working to save the children.”

“But earlier this month, when Sullivan’s own son was convicted of repeatedly abusing his stepdaughter in Oklahoma City, her passion for ‘saving the children’ seems to disappear. Instead, she defended her son as ‘innocent,’ blasted the justice system as ‘crooked,’ and attacked the 12-year-old girl at the center of the case as ‘a horrible liar.'”

“Now she is appealing to her community of fellow Qanon believers to come to her aide, including a direct plea to Trump himself.”

Conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has filed for bankruptcy but has nearly $10 million in assets and spends almost $100,000 a month, according to court filings., the BBC reports.

A new bankruptcy court filing shows that right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones has been “holding firearms” for those who participated in the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, the Washington Post reports.

Former Trump National Security Advisor Michael Flynn floated a conspiracy theory that we are heading towards World War III because of the “biological weapon called the Covid vaccines.”

“When some of the world’s wealthiest and most influential figures gathered at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting last year, sessions on climate change drew high-level discussions on topics such as carbon financing and sustainable food systems,” the AP reports.

“But an entirely different narrative played out on the internet, where social media users claimed leaders wanted to force the population to eat insects instead of meat in the name of saving the environment.”

“The annual event in the Swiss ski resort town of Davos, which opens Monday, has increasingly become a target of bizarre claims from a growing chorus of commentators who believe the forum involves a group of elites manipulating global events for their own benefit.”

A prominent adherent of the QAnon conspiracy theories posed for photos with Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort Tuesday night after speaking at an event hosted at the club, ABC News reports.

“Alex Jones filed for bankruptcy on Friday, less than two months after a jury ordered him and the parent company of his Infowars website to pay nearly $1 billion in compensatory damages to relatives of victims of the 2012 Sandy Hook mass shooting,” Reuters reports.

Donald Trump apparently spent last night amplifying QAnon memes on Truth Social.

Washington Post: “As the potential for damages mounted, Jones began moving millions of dollars out of his company, Free Speech Systems, and into companies controlled by himself, friends or relatives, according to a Washington Post review of financial statements, depositions and other court records. The transfers potentially put those funds out of reach of the Sandy Hook plaintiffs.”

“The Infowars conspiracy broadcaster Alex Jones must pay the families of eight Sandy Hook shooting victims an additional $473 million in punitive damages for defaming them, a judge in Connecticut ruled on Thursday, bringing the total damages to nearly $1.5 billion,” the New York Times reports.

It’s worth noting that the criminal complaint against the man who violently attacked Paul Pelosi includes his confession — which debunks every conspiracy theory pushed and amplified by Republican politicians and right-wing media.

Meanwhile, Tucker Carlson used his monologue on Monday night to cast doubt on authorities’ version of events surrounding the attack on the husband of the speaker of the House. He conveniently ommited key details from the charging documents that contradicted his take.
