At least four Republican governors — from Alabama, Arkansas, Michigan and Texas — “are moving to block Syrian refugees from entering their states after Friday’s terrorist attacks in Paris that killed more than 125 people and wounded hundreds more,” Politico reports.
“Despite Friday’s deadly attacks, the White House has said Obama still plans to accept 10,000 Syrian refugees in 2016.”
The New Orleans Times Picayune reports Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) has also moved to prevent refugees from coming to his state.
Indiana Gov. Mike Pence (R) issued a similar order.
