After weeks of denying that she may run for the U.S. Senate, Ashley Judd publicly hinted she could run against Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) in 2014, the AP reports.
Judd noted in a speech that she didn’t like to be criticized, adding that it’s ironic since she was “about to get $40 million worth of it.”
She also said her mother, Naomi Judd, “can’t wait to turn her garage into a campaign headquarters.”
