Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK) recently challenged Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) at a closed-door meeting, saying there is a GOP “leadership vacuum” in the upper chamber, The Hill reports.
Two GOP senators confirmed the exchange but Coburn declined to talk about his private conversation.
