CNN Invites 16 Candidate to Next Debate

“Sixteen Republican presidential candidates — the entire GOP field, minus Jim Gilmore — have been invited to participate in the CNN/Reagan Library presidential debate on Sept. 16,” Politico reports.

“The debate will be split into two back-to-back debates: The main event will feature the top 10 candidates according to an average of national polls between July 16 and Sept. 10. The undercard debate will feature the remaining contestants who fulfill candidate requirements and register at least a 1 percent average in national polls between July 16 and Sept. 10.”
