Sen. Ted Cruz, smarting over Donald Trump’s menacing Twitter messages about his wife, thrashed his rival and warned him to “leave Heidi the hell alone,” the New York Times reports.
Calling Trump a “small and petty man” who is easily cowed by “strong women,” Cruz said in front of reporters in Wisconsin, “Donald, you’re a sniveling coward.”

Goddard earned degrees from Vassar College and Harvard University. He lives in New York with his wife and three sons.
