In a sign that New Hampshire is at risk of falling off the map of Senate battleground states, the Senate Leadership Fund, the outside group affiliated with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said that it was canceling $5.6 million in television ads that it had reserved in the state for the final two weeks of the race, the New York Times reports.

Goddard spent more than a decade as managing director and chief operating officer of a prominent investment firm in New York City. Previously, he was a policy adviser to a U.S. Senator and Governor.

Goddard earned degrees from Vassar College and Harvard University. He lives in New York with his wife and three sons.
