We’re headed back home after nearly a week in Buenos Aires, a beautiful city that feels very much like it’s in Europe.
In addition to seeing our son, who has been living here, we saw Eva Peron’s grave at the famous Recoleta Cemetery and the painting of Che Guevara made famous by t-shirts around the world. And we ate at some outstanding restaurants, including Don Julio, widely regarded as one of the great steakhouses in the entire world.
But the most striking thing about walking around Buenos Aires are the number of dogs. I’m not sure I’ve ever been to a more dog-friendly city.
It’s probably not a coincidence that the people are wonderful too.
