Former Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA) — who retired less than a year ago — “plans to run for the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors, a position she last held 37 years ago,” the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
“Since then, she served 18 years in the California Legislature and 15 years in the U.S. House of Representatives, a position she only retired from nine months ago.”

Goddard earned degrees from Vassar College and Harvard University. He lives in New York with his wife and three sons.
