Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) said he’s encouraged several Democratic senators — Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) and Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) — to run against President Biden, but so far he’s found no takers, the Deseret News reports.
“But, he said, Democrats have told him that the likely heir to Biden is a more progressive Democrat like Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts or independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.”
