The Second Circuit Court of Appeals has refused Donald Trump’s request for the full appeals court to rehear his claim of presidential immunity from civil suit in one of the E. Jean Carroll defamation cases – which means Trump may ask the Supreme Court to take the case.

Goddard earned degrees from Vassar College and Harvard University. He lives in New York with his wife and three sons.
