Forty-six Senate Republicans — including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) — have signed onto a Supreme Court brief supporting Donald Trump’s effort to remain on the 2024 ballot.
The brief, notably, casts doubt on whether Trump bears any responsibility for the January 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
