Trump Leads Nationally

A new Pew Research poll finds Donald Trump leading Joe Biden nationally among registered voters, 44% to 40%, while 15% support Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

If the choices are narrowed to just two candidates, Trump holds a slight edge, 50% to 47%.

But this is devastating: Only 24% of voters say the phrase “mentally sharp” describes Biden very or fairly well, while 58% describe Trump as mentally sharp.

Also interesting: Majorities of voters describe both Biden and Trump as “embarrassing,” with identical shares (63% each) saying this about each candidate.
