“On Tuesday night, following his first public appearance as Vice President Kamala Harris’s running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz posted a photo of himself wearing the just-released ‘Harris-Walz Camo Hat,'” the Washington Post reports.
“The official campaign merch was modeled after the cap Walz wore in a video circulated by the Harris campaign, in which he accepted Harris’s offer to be her running mate. According to the campaign, it sold out of its initial inventory of 3,000 hats within 30 minutes — with camo-hat sales totaling nearly $1 million Tuesday via its online store.”
