“A federal judge on Monday held Rudy Giuliani in contempt for failing to turn over information to two former Georgia election workers he defamed after the 2020 presidential election, as they continue to try to collect $150 million in damages,” CNN reports.
“The sanction adds to a pile of significant consequences the former New York mayor, US attorney and Donald Trump attorney has faced in court in recent years.”
New York Times: “The judge has yet to detail what specific sanctions Mr. Giuliani faces. But being held in contempt could possibly hinder the former mayor’s attempts to hang onto his Palm Beach condo.”
