“A school-age child has died of measles in West Texas, the first death from the disease in a decade in the United States,” NBC News reports.
“The child had not been vaccinated against measles, according to the city of Lubbock’s health department.”
Dallas Morning News: “The measles outbreak in rural West Texas has grown to 124 cases across nine counties, the state health department said Tuesday. There are also nine cases in eastern New Mexico.”
