“House Republicans are celebrating passing a conservative funding bill through their narrow ranks and jamming the Senate with such a proposal, both for the first time,” the Washington Post reports.
“GOP leadership announced early Tuesday that the House would adjourn and start a week-long district work period earlier than expected. By fleeing town, the House is basically giving the Senate no other option but to pass their bill.”
