Cuomo Leads with One Week to Go

A new Manhattan Institute ranked-choice simulation in the Democratic mayoral primary in New York City shows Andrew Cuomo defeating Zohran Mamdani 56% to 44% in the final round.

The former governor opens with a 13-point lead in the first round (43% to 30%)… Cuomo maintains his lead through every round and comes within striking distance of a majority in round 9 before sealing the win in round 10.“

Goddard spent more than a decade as managing director and chief operating officer of a prominent investment firm in New York City. Previously, he was a policy adviser to a U.S. Senator and Governor.
