Trump Will Go On Trial April 15

A Manhattan judge ruled that Donald Trump’s “hush money” criminal trial will begin on April 15 with jury selection, the New York Times reports.

“That hearing was bad news for Trump and not only because of the new trial date. That’s twice now that the judge, Juan Merchan, has seemed impatient with his lawyers, and seen through their attempts at delay and distraction. If the judge keeps the lawyers on this tight a leash during the trial itself, the former president will be in trouble.”

Goddard earned degrees from Vassar College and Harvard University. He lives in New York with his wife and three sons.
