Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) launched into a blistering attack against Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) while speaking at a Trump campaign rally in Louisiana late Wednesday, The Hill reports.

Said Kennedy: “In three short years, President Trump has doubled the growth in the greatest economy in all of human history. And do you know what our Democratic friends have done for him? Speaker Nancy Pelosi is trying to impeach him.”

April 3, 2019 at 12:23 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard Leave a Comment

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) joked that former Vice President Joe Biden may “lose some teeth” if he attempts to embrace the GOP senator in a manner similar to how several women have described encounters with Biden that made them uncomfortable in recent days, The Hill reports.

Said Kennedy: “I’ve said this before, just because you’re accused of something doesn’t mean you’re guilty of it. This is America and you do have a right to due process. On the other hand, this is no country for creepy old men.”

GOP Senator Calls Brennan a ‘Butthead’

August 16, 2018 at 7:02 am EDT By Taegan Goddard Leave a Comment

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) defended President Trump’s decision to revoke John Brennan’s security clearance telling CNN the former CIA director is a “butthead” who doesn’t need the clearance.

Said Kennedy: “I think most Americans look at our national intelligence experts as being above politics. Mr. Brennan has demonstrated that that’s not the case. He’s been totally political. I think I called him a ‘butthead’ and I meant it. I think he’s given the national intelligence community a bad name.”

Kennedy Won’t Stop Talking About Rival and Prostitution

September 16, 2016 at 12:59 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard Leave a Comment

Louisiana State Treasurer John Kennedy said he won’t back off asking about allegations that his opponent in the U.S. Senate race was allegedly involved with prostitutes, the Baton Rouge Advocate reports.

Said Kennedy: “The most prestigious publisher in the world has alleged that he was serviced by not one, not two, not three but four prostitutes and has cheated on his wife. He says it’s a lie. I didn’t write that. Simon and Schuster did. He needs to sue them if it’s not true.”
