Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) told National Journal he’s not being vetted as a potential running mate by Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
Brown Says Most Terrorists are White Males
Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) told WAKR that most terrorist attacks in the United States since the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks have been committed by “generally white males.”
Said Brown: “Since the beginning of the Bush administration when we were attacked, September 11th, we’ve not had any major terrorist attacks in this country. We’ve had individual crazy people, of normally, they look more like me than they look like Middle Easterners. They are generally white males, who have shot up people in movie theaters and schools. Those are terrorist attacks, they’re just different kinds of terrorists.”
Clinton Wins Endorsement of Sherrod Brown
Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) is endorsing Hillary Clinton for president, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
“Brown’s endorsement could matter among Ohio primary voters next March as Clinton vies with Bernie Sanders for the party’s nomination. Brown has long embraced the progressive label, taking positions more often affiliated with colleagues such as Sanders, of Vermont, and Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts than with moderates such as Clinton.”
White House Wants Apology from Sherrod Brown
The White House said it expects Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) to apologize for calling President Obama’s criticism of Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) sexist, The Hill reports.
Said press secretary Josh Ernest: “I’m confident after he has gotten a chance to take a look at the comments he made yesterday that he’ll find a way to apologize.”
