Pierce Bush Eyes House Seat

Pierce Bush, grandson and nephew of presidents, told the Washington Examiner that he is considering running for a Houston-area seat held by Republicans for decades until last year.

Republicans held Texas’ 7th Congressional District in the Houston suburbs since its creation in 1966 until the 2018 elections, when Democratic challenger Lizzie Fletcher upset 18-year GOP incumbent Rep. John Culberson.
