A new Atlanta Journal-Constitution/Channel 2 Action News poll in Georgia finds Stacey Abrams (D) and Brian Kemp (R) deadlocked in their race for governor at 45% each.
Key finding: “The poll also points to the limits of President Trump’s popularity in the state. Trump won Georgia by 5 percentage points in 2016 and his surprise endorsement in July helped fuel Kemp’s runaway runoff victory, but his approval ratings are underwater in Georgia.”
