In a new Public Religion Research Institute poll finds that 43% of Americans believe that discrimination against whites has become as large a problem as discrimination against blacks and other minority groups.
And an even bigger share of Americans — 53% — told pollsters American culture and “way of life” have mostly changed for the worse since 1950.

Goddard earned degrees from Vassar College and Harvard University. He lives in New York with his wife and three sons.
