National and local Democratic strategists are hamstrung over what to do, wanting Kihuen out of the picture but fretting they could lose the seat in a low-turnout special election. The seat is rated a lean Democratic seat by most analysts – Democrats have a double-digit registration edge, but Kihuen only won by 4 points and Hillary Clinton by only 5.”
