House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is expected to meet with former President Donald Trump on Thursday, coming as McCarthy is considering which members of his conference to appoint to a special committee tasked with investigating the deadly January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, CNN reports.

Goddard earned degrees from Vassar College and Harvard University. He lives in New York with his wife and three sons.
