NATO released an estimate “that 7,000 to 15,000 Russian soldiers have been killed in four weeks of war in Ukraine,” the AP reports.
“By way of comparison, Russia lost about 15,000 troops over 10 years in Afghanistan.”
Wall Street Journal: “The casualty count would underscore how much Russia’s attack on Ukraine that began Feb. 24 has become bogged down after what defense analysts have said have been a series of operational missteps.”
