Former Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ) announced he is running for retiring Rep. Debbie Lesko’s (R-AZ) seat, the Washington Post reports.
Franks abruptly resigned in 2017 after making “unwanted advances toward female staffers in his office” and retaliating “against one who rebuffed him.”
Franks also offered one staffer $5 million to act as a surrogate due to his wife’s fertility issues.
