Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said he was “very concerned” with new congressional districts proposed by the Louisiana legislature that would create another majority-Black seat in his home state, Punchbowl News reports.
The proposed map would essentially eliminate Rep. Garret Graves’ (R-LA) seat and force Graves into a potential member-on-member primary against Rep. Julia Letlow (R-LA).
