“As soon as E. Jean Carroll heard the verdict on Friday — $83.3 million in defamation damages against Donald Trump — a world of possibility opened before her: How to use the money?,” the New York Times reports.
“The amount vastly eclipsed the $5 million awarded to her by a jury last spring in a different trial against Mr. Trump. It could take years before she sees the money, as Mr. Trump has said he will appeal, but she is already considering how she might use the money once she obtains it.”
Said Carroll: “I’m not going to waste a cent of this. We’re going to do something good with it.”
