Nikki Haley’s Fate Hinges on Super Tuesday

“The biggest day of 2024 balloting so far plays out Tuesday, with Donald Trump likely to deliver another demoralizing blow to Nikki Haley on a day that is expected to move him within reach of the Republican presidential nomination,” the Wall Street Journal reports.

“On Monday, Haley made her potential last stand in Texas—home of the Alamo and one of the states voting Tuesday—before traveling to South Carolina. She has no events scheduled for Tuesday or beyond.”

“Her campaign also has no future TV or radio ads booked.”

Playbook: “Watch early returns from Vermont and Virginia, where polls close at 7 p.m. If Haley is not overperforming in these two states that don’t have partisan voter registration, she’s unlikely to make much of a splash anywhere else tonight.”
