The House Republican leadership is moving into campaign mode after clearing must-pass legislation, planning votes on issues to divide Democrats like Israel, crime and border security, Politico reports.
Said one senior Democratic aide: “We’ve done all the bipartisan things we have to do — what else is there to do the rest of the year? Messaging bills that are intended to put our frontliners in a bad place.”
