President Biden told CBS News his decision to drop out of the presidential race came about because “Democratic colleagues” thought he was going to impact House and Senate races.
Said Biden: “I was concerned that if I stayed in the race… I thought it would be a real distraction.”
Interestingly, the only “colleague” he mentioned by name was Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
