“Top House Republicans warned members on Thursday that they need to ramp up their fundraising efforts due to the influx of cash Democrats have seen since the Biden-Harris swap,” Axios reports.

Punchbowl News: “Speaker Mike Johnson struck a slightly more optimistic tone, telling members he has been encountering strong Republican candidates and good energy on the ground as he travels the country over the August recess. But Johnson acknowledged the shift in the political landscape sounds ‘ominous’ at first blush.”
