Republicans who support Ukraine downplayed Donald Trump’s refusal to say whether he wants Kyiv to win the war, Punchbowl News reports.
Said Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK): “The last thing you do in negotiations is show your cards. So if you’re going to negotiate a peace deal, you’ve got to negotiate from a neutral position. Otherwise, they’re never going to come to the table.”
